GEDYS IntraWare focuses on a stronger position in Central Europe Petersberg, 25. November 2009 - GEDYS IntraWare, a part of the business unit CRM of the GROUP Business Software AG, has been among the leading European suppliers for CRM solutions for many years. As such, the company offers custom-made solutions for an efficient customer relationship management. On the basis of a Management Buy Out the current CEOs Ralf Geishauser and Joachim Weber have signed a letter of intent which aims to take over the GEDYS IntraWare GmbH, located in Petersberg, Germany, from the GROUP Business Software AG with effect from 31. December 2009. With annual sales of nine million Euros, GEDYS IntraWare is extremely profitable, serving medium-sized customers as well as big enterprises.
The successful collaboration with the GROUP Business Software AG will be kept alive as a strong cooperation. "We agree that we will all become even more powerful as partners than as parent company and subsidiary", Geishauser explains. This means that GEDYS IntraWare will go on selling GROUP Business Software AG products. In return, the present parent company is going to provide services for customers in the USA as well as in further international locations and will thus continue the overseas CRM business.
In future, GEDYS IntraWare will focus on the locations in Germany. The further development of the CRM solutions will especially comply with the requirements of the German and European customers. The company plans an increased focus on the projects and the development of standard products in the CRM environment.
"The next innovations of the product line GEDYS IntraWare 7 will be available for our customers very soon", says Joachim Weber. "The new module Event Manager offers our customers a flexible solution for the planning of events in sales, partner and service organisations. The module Analytics provides our customers with completely new views, historical reports and analyses from the data in the electronic customer file. Hence, the customers of GEDYS IntraWare always have a 360° degree view of their customers - and they have this complete view as a team, via mobile devices and by the means of various analyses." |
