The founding idea of increasing the profitability of the production of individual and very small series by reducing set-up and programming times came from one of Hurco’s co-founders, Gerald Roch. “Never accept the status quo.” (Don’t be satisfied with the status quo) – is one of his life mottos. And this is exactly the case when Hurco Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH, technology leader for 50 years, comes on the scene: The machines with CNC control and dialog programming enable quick learning of operation and precise production of small quantities. Hurco thus revolutionized tool manufacturing in the 1980s.

The company’s customer base relies on the production of individual and small batches of intuitively operated, adaptable machines. We supply technologically leading products with precision at high speed and reliable performance as well as high-quality, reliable service.

With the increasing service requirements of ever more complex electronics, Hurco is aware that the more optimally processes are coordinated, the easier it is to save resources in order to strengthen the focus on the customer in service, sales and marketing. The operational infrastructure must also be able to cope with this.

HURCO and GEDYS IntraWare


With the GEDYS IntraWare CRM software, Hurco Hurco Machine Tools digitized, optimized and automated numerous processes in service, sales and marketing. This way, nothing stands in the way of new innovations at the customer’s and at the company’s own premises. Sales, controlling, service and marketing are now benefiting from the integration of the CRM software. The system has been adopted in large parts of European sales and is now affectionately called H.I.S (Hurco Information System) within the company. And there is no end in sight to the collaboration. The team from Hurco and GEDYS IntraWare believes in a living CRM that grows with new challenges and insights.

For example, Hurco has regular meetings where problems and new optimization ideas for the CRM system are collected and then discussed, planned and implemented together with GEDYS IntraWare. The integrations of spare parts management, accounting, purchasing and warehousing, for example, are already on the horizon. In this way, both companies are constantly learning together and the CRM is gradually growing with them.
