First info about HCL Sametime Eifel

The new HCL Sametime release called Eifel has been announced for fall 2022. Here you can find first information about the new functions.

We all feel it every day: our cooperation is developing with great strides. Less time is spent with colleagues and customers in face-to-face presence events. Video conferencing, but also chat messages are now the traditional tools for collaboration. We have become increasingly adept at working efficiently with these new collaboration tools.

From this point of view, the HCL Sametime chat and meeting solution has also evolved. Requests for seamless collaboration across multiple devices have been answered. It is an integral part of the upcoming version HCL Sametime Eifel as well as the following functions:

• Host and join your Sametime meetings now from the Safari browser.

• Never misplace important information again – find 1:1 chats, group chats and meetings with our latest chat filters

• Use Push Proxy to get instant notifications about calls, meetings, and chats for iOS and Android mobile devices.

• Keep better track of your time: Show the meeting timer once the meeting has started

The pre-release is available now for all Sametime Premium customers and Domino customers with entitlement to HCL Sametime. The download is available now on the HCL License and Download Portal – just search under the product category “HCL Sametime” to find it.

You can already test HCL Sametime Eifel in our Early Access Program.

Please note that the HCL Sametime Eifel Early Access Release will be available from now until launch, which is scheduled for Fall 2022.
