Workflow Management for shorter Lead Times
For Litens Automotive, GEDYS IntraWare implemented a smooth Workflow Management for more than 1,400 invoices and credit notes per month.

Litens Automotive Group is a full service provider and manufacturer of engineered power transmission systems and components. As an established world leader with over 25 years experience, Litens has extensive experience in providing innovative technological solutions for the automotive power transmission market. The company has, among others, sites in France, UK, Canada, China and Brazil.
Particular Challenges for the new Workflow Management
The emerging company was looking for a solution for the optimization of the processes involved in the processing of invoices and credit notes. It was necessary to solve a number of challenges:
- 1400 – 1600 invoices and credit notes per month
- Different approver per department and supplier
- Long lead times for the incoming invoices from receipt to approval
- Delay caused by the absence of the approving people
- Continuous process from the preparation of invoices to archiving missing
- Information missing – which invoice is where, why and for how long
Results
With the introduction of GEDYS IntraWare Workflow Management processes were optimized measurable and sustainable:
- Significantly increased transparency in the approval process
- Reduction of cycle time by up to 30% (depending on the department)
- Semi-automatic assignment of approvers based on corresponding master data from the ERP system
- Connection to easyScan – thereby greatly simplifying the detection of bills
- Provision of the approval protocol and key data for later archiving of the invoice
